Subsystems Bookham’s ‘Intelligent Optical Platform ’ series provides a flexible, network-ready hardware and software solution for a wide variety of optical applications. A rack-mountable shelf for use in 19" and 23" racks supports functions such as DWDM Amplification, Mux/Demux, OADM, and Wavelength Selective Switch (WSS). Communication via SNMP and TL-1 enables remote configuration via network management systems.
